Terms of use
Using this site means accepting these terms. The most important one: this is a reference aid, not legal advice, and every date it produces is your responsibility to verify.

Not legal advice
CourtDayCalculator provides general information about how procedural deadlines are computed. It does not provide legal advice, does not create an attorney–client relationship, and is not a substitute for the judgment of a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.
Verify every date
Deadlines depend on facts this tool cannot see: local rules, standing orders, case-specific scheduling orders, emergency closures, tolling agreements, and amendments to the rules themselves. A computed date is a starting point for your own analysis, not a conclusion.
Each rule page links to the source text of the rule it encodes and states whether that encoding has been checked against the official text. Read both before relying on a result. See the methodology page for exactly how the counting works and what it does not model.
No warranty
The site and its calculations are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the rule data is current, complete, or free of error.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, this site — including any missed deadline, waived right, or adverse ruling.
Acceptable use
You may use this site for lawful professional and personal purposes. You may not attempt to disrupt it, scrape it at a volume that degrades service for others, or present its output as your own legal advice to a third party without your own independent review.
Advertising
This site is supported by advertising. Advertisements are supplied by third parties and their presence is not an endorsement of the advertiser, and no advertiser has any influence over the rule data or the calculations. How advertising cookies are used is described in the privacy policy.
Changes
These terms may be revised. Continued use of the site after a revision is posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
